I was seriously considering a Huracan quite recently prior to deciding upon a 488. One of the main reasons I didn't go for one in the end was that I felt it would be too similar to a V10 R8 one of which I had owned for the previous 7 years.

WRT mileage discrepancies and number of launches, Ricky discusses it here at around 14.30 in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJKwBWQfJ_g

I would also like to add that I have no affiliation with RE Performance other than being an extremely satisfied customer.

Noted re the advert in July but I don’t see that as unusual in any way as it’s done 600 ish miles since then which tells me that it didn’t sell so was used again or was it for sale at same dealership ?

It’s not the best I e seen and if I’m honest I have to admit I was being drawn in on price but with a service due/overdue it’s not as much of a bargain as I first thought.

I’m still thinking this one looks a lot more of a tidy car for the money

Have to say I am a massive fan of a good independent. Mine does great work and always seems to go that bit further.

Once it gets to a certain age it doesn’t need to go back to a man dealer. I certainly don’t see it as cheap, just sensible,

I don’t believe a main dealer for a brand like Ferrari is any better than a main dealer like Ford. I’ve seen appalling work from main dealers.

Specialist tend to be run and staffed by ex main dealer people anyway.

Never driven a Huracan, but the 458 is dead easy to drive. My wife was more than happy to drive it. Last time she finally got what the fuss was about with Ferrari hehe

The point is, were the dampers replaced or not?

God question and I doubt that they were given it’s up for sale. I don’t feel it’s likely the seller or previous owner would have done this.

I’m also considering a 458 spider and found a low miles and good spec at what seems like a good price. Only downside is 8 former keepers.
Any opinions on this:

How about this one? Similar in price but approved used so should have cast iron warranty.

+1 on the 458 being easy to drive

another thing to consider is just how much attention lambos seem to get, it can be irritating imo if you're driving lots
