Your price range is probably correct in terms of what's available. Mileages over 50k seem to hit prices quite hard but there's also the argument that if they're being used the owner is encountering and having to deal with issues. I've had mine for twelve years and have done 15k of its 36k, and just in the last few years I've dealt with clutch/release bearing, ECU, manifolds and sticky interior. All on top of the usual servicing. With this in mind I'd say there's certainly the argument for looking at a higher mileage car from long-term ownership and receipts from reputable places.
The Ferrari Centre/Rardleys/Forza 288 seem to be decent barometers for 'for sale' prices from reputable dealers. And Collecting Cars will show high bids but I haven't seen one on there in the last few months.

we've been looking for a good 355 over the last 3-4 months and must admit we're struggling.
The 2 GTBs at 189 and 199 are definite outliers and feel like a dealer seeing what they can get.
The bulk of low mileage, low owner manual cars seem to pitch in from 95-120K at the moment which feels higher than it should be; but that's purely a personal opinion.

The UK market seems to be fairly buoyant at the moment. Since I got mine just over 12 months ago, I know four other people who have bought too. Regular Prices seem to range from mid 60s up to 120, though quality is equally variable. That said, the most expensive one I’ve seen in person (£120k) was one of the worst cosmetically and nothing exceptional about its spec or mileage (basic GTB). It’s a SOR car and has been dropped to £110k in the last couple of weeks. It’s still at least £30k too much IMO.
KHPC have had a couple of really amazing cars lately, but they don’t sit for long. A metallic grey GTS with carbon seats was a standout. For anyone that’s keen I would recommend calling KPHC as they can seemingly source really good cars very readily.

There’s a black one for sale at Joe Macari which was on display at salon prive. Black GTS with the carbon seats. Manual and around 48k miles. On for around 125K.
In todays market I think that’s probably around right and wouldn’t be surprised if it gets snapped up reasonably quickly.
I get a sense that the manuals with carbon seats are getting a lot of attention at the moment. Having spent a fortune bringing mine up to snuff with a bare metal respray etc that is on one view good news for me although since I’m not planning on ever selling it also by the same token pretty irrelevant…

Sold to pay for a house build back through the lovely Rardley Ferrari for £70k. Thought it was peak market 6 years ago but they have crept up further.

Sold mine for £48k via an auction, LHD, black GTS Manual (3 years ago though). Was exceedingly difficult to sell. Also very expensive to run, all in average spend PA on maintenance was in excess of my McLaren's £5k annual warranty. I knew there as a lot of work coming up too, buttresses, manifold & engine out service so decided to let it go. I did use it quite a bit and it was a 'nice' car but the roof leaked, it wasn't that quick, steering was not great, gears stubborn when cold and all the switch gear had gone sticky.
Just be very, very careful. There are quite a few not very good cars out there with the price tags of good cars. Mine went to 3 specialists for pre-purchase inspections and all 3 had different items on their to-do list and massively varying estimates for the work.
They are very nice cars, beautiful to look at, sound great, pleasant (not fun) to drive but eye wateringly expensive to maintain. Its not a 'tick list' car, its a car you really, really must want and want to keep knowing it will cost you. If you go in with your eyes wide open and consider it a classic car you will enjoy it but if its just another car on a long list it will frustrate, you need to be a fanboy.

Other than a recent full engine overhaul (bearings, rings, valve guides, valves, plus manifolds, plugs, leads, clutch etc etc) ive done pretty much all the maintenance myself over the years and it hasn't cost the earth. You do need to keep on top of things that are getting old however. I've replaced all the hoses, rads, belts, filters etc over the years. Next up is springs and suspension bushes (again). Going with polybushes this time as the old rubber ones were a bugger to get in and out 10 years ago.
Oh, and if you're going to farm all that out to a 'specialist', you'll need a large wallet...

I sold mine for 27k after spending c 20k on it from memory over 2.5 years and a little more than 20k miles. At today’s hourly rates that figure will be a lot bigger. Loved every minute of it, but you need money and a little patience if you can’t do work yourself. A more modern car will be a lot cheaper to run

Yes expensive to run (though only about the same as my integrale LOL) bank on £1/mile,will cost you more than a 360 or 430 to maintain properly and lots haven't been so you could easily be walking into big bills. spend as much as you can on the best car, as usual. If you want to drive it rather than purely investment higher mileage and more recent usage (and maintenance) may well save you money, and grief.
And as a minor update, I've just spent this morning tracking down electrical gremlins (ie total eletrical failure). Turned out to be nothing more than a badly corroded negative terminal on the battery, Cut the end of the wire off, cleaned up the rest, new terminal and job jobbed.
Which would no doubt have cost 4 figures to rectify at a specialist.
And whilst ~I was there, gave the positive and all the engine bay contacts a good polish up as well...

If you look at the running costs for my car over 12 years and 15k miles at first glance it is a little sobering. But I was lucky to buy it when i did and its allowed me entry into many great events. Keep toying with selling but what to change for. Maybe i need to scratch the V12 itch before it's too late?!! 599 or 612 does look very appealing!
I suspect some might be less desirable cars, for various reasons; condition, mileage, history, manual/F1, colour, owners etc.
I have to say today’s prices have got me contemplating selling mine for the first time in twelve years of ownership. I do wonder what sale prices are relative to advertised ones though. Haven’t paid much attention to 355’s at auctions, which I guess can be a clearer barometer of values,
