What is the current thinking among owners on how frequently the cam belts should be changed on the BB which is, of course, an engine out job and not cheap? I have my eye on one at the moment and would like to know what I am in for. I believe the official word from Ferrari is that this should be done every three years which seems excessive.
If any owners want to tell me how much they enjoy their BB and how I should go for it then that would also be very welcome. I am thinking of a 512 on carbs rather than a 365.
Many thanks.

I enjoy mine immensely. Or did until I left the country for a few years. I'm looking forward to getting back to driving it though when I'm back.If any owners want to tell me how much they enjoy their BB and how I should go for it then that would also be very welcome. With regards to cam belts, mine were done several years ago and I will be getting them looked at shortly to see if there is any need to change them. It's been sitting in a carcoon for a while so has been more of a garage queen than I'd like but I don't know how that will affect things.
