Always sad to see one of the greats ending its life
It's an F40... It certainly won't be the end! I know of at least two UK based F40's that have burnt to a cinder and yet live on, rebuilt in times when values were far less than they are today - Look at the wider super-classic market and it's much more common than you could imagine.

Is Ferrari the new Mclaren
Ferrari is the new Ferrari.Cars have been catching on fire since the dawn of time - 355s, 458s both had recalls to stop them catching on fire. 991 Porsche GT3s too, they told owners to stop driving their cars until they could find a fix. It's such an odd bandwagon people have jumped on with hating Mclaren. Haters gonna hate I guess.
Either way, such a sad sight to see any piece of automotive art in that state

Indeed, and most Italian cars of the 70's and 80's were prone to fire because of the often crap design that routed fuel lines near combustible or heat sensitive components and the poor quality of the parts themselves. I always used to get fuel and brake lines checked and replaced or upgraded on any old Ferrari I had. I vaguely recall a car that had lines in a perilous state when I got it checked. I guess MOT's were more lax in those days too.Cars have been catching on fire since the dawn of time - 355s, 458s both had recalls to stop them catching on fire. 991 Porsche GT3s too, they told owners to stop driving their cars until they could find a fix.
