What are your top 3 best looking Ferraris of all time?

Ok, here’s my first attempt - 288 GTO, 246 GT (assuming you accept a “Dino” as a real Ferrari) and the 275 GTB...

Ok, so at the top of my head they are the 250 GT SWB, 246 GT Dino (yes, I class that as a real Ferrari) and 250 California.

Love the 288 GTO and give it a 98% score in the beauty stakes (-2% for those God awful mirrors).

It's all subjective but I do disagree when people say the F40 is beautiful! It has beautiful aspects and even as my No: 1 lotto win car, I'll never see it as a beautiful motor.

For me the most beautiful Ferrari has always been the Dino 246GT, since I was six years old...









Closely followed by the 250LM...



Fully prepared to be taken outside, put up against a wall and shot for this - the 308GT4 gets better looking with every year that passes...

Also shout out to 308, which is a *slightly* less good looking 288.

Pre 70s and post 2000 don’t do much for me on the looks front — although loads of amazing cars in those brackets they don’t look what I think of as “quintessential Ferrari”.

And aside from the obvious 250 SWB/Berlinetta, for V12’s, the 456 is beautiful imo



However #1 has to be the 246GT, the blueprint for all mid-engine Ferrari sports cars. They got it so right, right from the beginning.

Mmm, I did see a 308 a few days back (in dark blue) and thought it looked sooo “right” (and surprisingly petite in today’s traffic) but I always feel that the shape evolved nicely into the 328 and then the 288 GTO. The 355 is astounding when you see the looks combined with the presence and the noise but from a pure aesthetic point of view, I always thought it looked a bit nose heavy. The 456 wheels always looked a couple of sizes too small to me! Good brave shout on the 308 GT4 - probably not top 3 but it has aged really well and looks great now. As I said earlier I’d never really considered the racing cars but there are a couple of stunners there. It was a close call for me between the 250 and the 275....perhaps I need to think again....?!

As a child of the 80s, 288 GTO, F40 and the single mirror Testarossa for me. I’d have the 288 in black, the F40 in red and the Testarossa in white.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the early 1980s 512 BBi ..I had a poster of the earlier version on my bedroom wall when i was a teenager.

I think the last good looking Ferrari was the 355. After this computers and wind tunnels became more important to the factory than pure looks and they are now ugly to my eyes. Best was the 246 Dino - ironically never badged as a Ferrari!

This. They've not made a truly beautiful car since the 355. Arguably the best looking car from anyone, ever. The 360 was ugly on release and hasn't aged well at all. A 355 poster could still be put pride of place in any boys bedroom.

Oddly, a lot of the 246s I've seen at shows have had Ferrari badges added to the tail panel! I caught this one in the top car park at Goodwood in September... they often look tiny and jewel like in photos but take up more road space than you'd think...

Yes!!!!

Scratch the 288 on my list, this just edges it out for this style of Ferrari.

But basically every Ferrari in that general shape is fantastic.

They were just badged as a Dino by the factory. Owners have added the Ferrari badges
