Ferraris on ice

Thought that several on here might be interested in this.

We had a car event today on the frozen lake in St. Moritz. It was a mixture between a concours and an opportunity for the owners to drive round the horse-racing track at speed on the snow. It had received almost no publicity in advance which was a huge shame.

There were (as is usual here so close to Italy) quite a high interesting Ferrari quota so I thought I'd post a few photos.

There was also a lovely F40 and F50 which when driven hard on the snow filled the valley with the most amazing sound.

Some really amazing pictures you've posted here. Three Pagani Huayras, just amazing!! That anniversary Countach looks just amazing, it still has a presence and a WOW factor, truly brilliant car! Interesting to see that Miura SVJ on snow tyres too.....I think this car once belonged to the Shah of Iran, Reza Pahlavi who commissioned the factory to build him a special Miura which he kept in St Moritz and on studded snow tyres! Great pictures and what a gathering of exotica. Thanks for posting!

those are amazing, thank you so much for posting - must have been an epic event. Drove a GTC4 Lusso on snow (and the FF in the mountains around Chamonix on snow), which was already quite something - but this looks like an awesome day

Yes, a truly special day and apparently organized at the last moment. Hopefully it will be much better next year.
