Question about 550 Maranello alloy wheel

Is the outer aluminium section of this wheel 'polished and lacquered'? I'm getting all 4 wheels re-furbed due to slight white 'oxidisation' around the valve hole etc. Want to be sure they are done correctly.

IIIRC they are just polished, not lacquered

They have a coating of lacquer. I have the same type and have just had one reconditioned. Being a three piece wheel I did not find a company that will do a proper job and reseal it. Luckily the marks were removed on a lathe without dismantling the wheel. I then sprayed a coat of lacquer over the edge of the wheel.
