Hi, my insurance is up for renewal and it would appear that the agreed value needs to be brought up to date.I would welcome opinions on its value. My car is an original 308 carb gtb,red with tan interior,18,000 miles from new and pretty much mint condition.I would guess it may be between 50k to 80k,but as theres been alot of recent price increase its hard to say.

if its as lovely as you say and mileage can be proved via history etc, and rhd uk car , started life as red/beige then i would suggest an agreed valuation of £100k

that figure is in my opinion what you would have to pay to replace it like for like , as mentioned in previous post it would have to be totally correct in every department and have correct wheels/tools/jack/books etc etc etc for that figure , and that is retail price imo

Wow that is surprising, thanks for the advice. The car does have the tools/jack/books and history etc but with two set of incorrect wheels, the ferrari metric ones from next years model as well as a set of ferrari 16" wheels.Another plus is its a dry sump car(probably same for all carb gtbs though).

16 in wheels were an option for these cars

16" were indeed an option , one of mine left the factory with 16's , although if yours was specced with 14's then obviously it would need those to be correct , also as you say all carb gtb were dry sump , gts were wet
