Manual 12-cylinder Ferraris for less than £100k
Discussion
Was discussing this was a motor journalist friend of mine recently - he wanted to know what RHD 12-cylinder Ferraris with a manual gearbox were still available for less than £100,000.
The following is the list I sent him, in approximate price order (low to high):
- 412
- 400i
- 365 GT4 2+2
- 400 GT (rarer than 365, esp as a manual, hence position - may even be marketed higher than 456 GT depending on your POV)
- 456 GT
- 456M GT
- 612 Scaglietti
- 550 Maranello
- Testarossa (nowhere near the best available, possibly a little high mileage etc)
Would be interested to hear other people's thoughts on this list. Does any one car stand out as a particularly great buy in your opinion?

599? Having said that a manual might just be over the £100k mark these days, if you could find one.
I've edited the original post now - I meant to add 'RHD' to the criteria. There is a LHD manual 599 in Paris for about £95k, but a RHD car (I believe less than half a dozen in RHD, about 50 in LHD) would be more like £130k+ I'd say.Simon Gregg of Bramley has just secured one - he's done well!

What will Bramley want for the 599?
A lot!http://www.gtspirit.com/2015/03/16/manual-ferrari-...
I think it depends what you want
Having owned it, the 400i Ferrari (and manual 412 and 365) is a wonderful classic Ferrari.
They don't get a good press but they are very enjoyable to drive.
The other choices are much more modern in feel. I think the 612 is a huge amount of car for the money...but I'm biased...
