348 possible fuel starvation
Discussion
Went out for a good run in 348 and as I went to accelerate out of a corner the engine fluttered for a split second just like fuel starvation. The petrol guage was reading quarter tank. I then took it easy for 5 miles or so to the nearest petrol station.
On opening the screw filler cap there was a massive rush of air sucked in, making me think it was starvation caused through a vacuum in the tank. I guess there should be a vent on the tank to prevent this.
Anyone got experience of this or can suggest where and what I should look for?
