How long untiil all Ferraris are Turbo?
Discussion
The end of NA engines in Ferraris is almost here. It has to do with changing emissions legislation in Europe - to get more power from an NA engine means increasing compression ratios (such as in new Speciale) and increased compression ratios don't allow for meeting the emissions legislation so I dare say it's not something Ferrari would have chosen but it is virtually here. (Euro VI arrives within two years so new designs will have to meet that I assume).
The interesting thing is the advent of electricity in the Hyper car power trains. McLaren use a term called 'Torque Fill' which means that the electric motor is used to get around turbo lag. I doubt it is any accident that these cars are showcasing this technology now and I also doubt that the technology is developed for these limited run cars only.
It will be interesting to see.

Never been a big fan of turbo cars even though I've had a few, 996 X50 turbo being the last. The power delivery and sound are always a bit disappointing versus a NA car.
Yes NA is going to be a dying supercar breed but on the flip side I think it will make them coveted in years to come
