Afternoon everyone, just looking for a little insurance market nous plse.
I'm coming out of a Huracan Performante and potentially into an 812 SF.
What are people paying for insurance?
TIA
Steve

How many cars do you have? At (IIRC) 5 or more, Lockton Performance is hard to beat, IMO. I pay about £6k PA for 750s, GT3RS, 964 restomod, 356 hotrod and three cooking cars.

I have insured my 488 spider with Admiralty with 5 years NCD. Annual mileage 6000 miles. I do have other cars insured through another company, incl another Ferrari and Rolls. Car is garaged overnight.
Annual Premium £980.00

On an aside, I was invited to a track day but found track day insurance from £1000 for the day rather extortionate so won't be attending Castle Coombe this time. Anyone here have any recommendations? Is £1000 'average". I have never done a track day before so maybe why?.....

Thanks for posting re Admiral.
Due to a very bad experience with them a couple of years ago I vowed never to darken their door again.
They could give me insurance and I wouldn't take it.

+ 1 on Admiral. I had an old 911 stolen. It took 6 months of fighting to get a payout from them.

I’ve just been round the insurance merry go round. Admiral are very cheap and I’ve never had reason to claim so can’t comment but they wouldn’t cover my 812 due to the value. Everywhere else was the opposite of cheap, triple the price, but maybe you get what you pay for, I’m hoping not to find out. I went with Lockton. Agreed value is a good thing, and being fully comp in all other cars is nice, plus anyone over 35 can drive my car now that is cool.

Thanks.
Agree totally on Admiral and I’m with Lockton.
Haven’t had to claim thankfully but they feel like a decent company.

How are you enjoying the 812?

It’s great, I love how scary it is, makes you feel alive. I absolutely love the look too but I know it’s a bit of a marmite car. It’s an Atelier car so is dripping with options, it’s a keeper. In some ways I still prefer the 458, they are surprisingly different.

Great news.
I like the look too. Never driven a 458
