Ferrari 512S - Any history/Chassis # of this car?
Discussion
My dear chap, a dark haired Italianesque beauty paired with a donkey should always be commented upon that both look rather remarkable. In my experience to do anything other than that invariably invites nothing but withering scorn. Most particular from either the lady herself or the person to whom said donkey belongs!
As for the specific car, could you perhaps provide some more context pls so we can narrow it down?

I was thinking it might be the op’s Mum or something hence asking people to refrain! As for the specific car, could you perhaps provide some more context pls so we can narrow it down?
I don't think it's a 512. They have vertical intake trumpets. The curved trumpets shown in the picture were on the 330 P3 and P4.
When were the pics taken? If in the last few years then it could be chassis #0858 at Talacrest, otherwise there is David Piper's #0900.

Thank you for your info. The photo is from the '70's. When were the pics taken? If in the last few years then it could be chassis #0858 at Talacrest, otherwise there is David Piper's #0900.

The lady is stunning old boy.
The Donkey only marginally less so, as it is indeed a P3/4 Spyder. A 512S has a very different looking engine bay, almost always with the airbox and without the additional wheel held there.
As previously mentioned, the two most likely numbers have been given, I suspect probably not the Piper car tho, unless you can provide some additional time/place info. Do you have a yr for instance - I am presuming end of the 60s, into 70/71 ?

Then that rules out David Piper's car, as that wasn't completed until 1979.On that basis I'd say it's probably 0856, which was owned by David Clarke through the 70s and 80s and was looked after by Graypaul Motors. That car is now owned by Lawrence Stroll.
