Anyone have any recommendations for a 599 gearbox rebuild, had a few issues reprogramming after some work and we've replaced everything on teh hydraulic side, so liely to need GB rebuild ??

Thoughts (prayers) and recommendations appreciated smile

Hi,
I would imagine the gearbox internals are not wildly different from a non-Ferrari gearbox. I would be inclined to have the box removed and sent to a gearbox specialist. I have previously used Bernie at Competition Transmission Services. He really knows his stuff.

In terms of the gear sets, I stumbled across a small engineering company that has previously made gears for Ferrari in Italy and supply F1 teams. I made a mental note at the time that if ever I was in your situation, I would contact them. PM me if you need the details.

Meanwhile, my prayers are with you!

DCT Scuderia in Bracknell. Specialise in Ferrari transmissions and are the best people for any F1 or DCT related Ferrari issues.

Can’t reccomend a gearbox rebuilder, but it’s curious that you said the issue arose after some reprogramming. The resin is that there is a bug with the SDx tool that affects the tcu used in 599 and OTO 612 models. When you do the relearn process, it can cause all of the eeprom data to be lost, and the car won’t go into any gears. There is a fix for this though that a few people can do. Can PM me for more details if you think it could be of help.
