Morning all.
There have been a fair few threads over the years about the running costs of V12 Ferrari's. I though it may be useful to add a little of my own experiences in this regard.
I've got a GTC4 Lusso. I clonked the rear diffuser coming out of my driveway a few weeks ago (pics below). An easy fix I thought. New diffuser and off we go. Not so. It needs a whole new rear assembly, bodywork and all. I've just had the estimate back from the the bodyshop. £14k! That includes 49 hours of Labour at £6k! So there you go. I'll be claiming on my insurance, I'll keep you updated as to how that conversation goes.

Whilst I can understand your sentiment about preserving your pride and joy in tip top condition, the damage as presented in your photos appears very minor and I would (I think!) be minded towards retaining the original paint to the rear end and investigate with an independent bodywork specialist as to what repairs are feasible. Going through your insurance company for such a minor but expensive repair could have an interesting impact on your renewal premium, protected no claims or not. I would want to reserve ability to claim for something more substantial (and hope it never happens!).

I reversed over a higher than expected kerb in my F8 spider and scuffed three of four of the rear diffuser fins. A new diffuser would have been £4k+ but mine was repainted for about half that. Not in the same league as yours in that nothing was actually broken. Hard to see that the rear bumper needs replacing though.
