As they state “our new thoroughbred” and with Purosangue directly translating to ‘thoroughbred’, I wouldn’t hold your breath. The dealers have always said this car would have the V12. As with you though, I hope I’m wrong!

You can take your Puro wotsit and shove it up your arse.

We will be waiting a while for the 812 replacement frown

I've quite enjoyed having an SUV over the past year; I'm looking forward to the Purosangue. What's not to like? Room for the family, you can drive it on snow or the beach, and its a v12 Ferrari.

It's probably adequate for the school run as well smile

I’ve done the big V8 ML and the big V8 Cayenne. I thoroughly enjoyed both vehicles and regarded them as excellent.

BUT… I paid sub £30k for the Merc and sub £60k for the Pork.

£200-300k is very different gravy for a vehicle which does not.a.single.thing differently to either of the above, including, I strongly suspect, not a great deal of difference in performance.

Now, the counter argument to this is the long standing tradition of Ferrari 4 seaters and their take on the epitome of luxury combined with prodigious speed and style. As a chap who is STILL kicking himself for not buying a 330 and/or 365 4 when both were mid £30k, I totally get this argument and segment of motor.

I posit however, that a Puro is a very, very, VERY long way from such cars, inc latter cars in the bloodline as the 456, FF and GTC/4.

Everybody has been talking about a £200-£300k price, but I’ve been led to believe that the V12 version is going to be short lived, exclusive and pushing £350k with a little spec. This is going to be a major profit maker for Ferrari imo. Let’s hope it at least goes to the loyal users and not the YouTube flipper brigade.

Why Gary? Why on earth do or should we actually care?
It’s a good question in general actually, why on earth do or should we care so much about this? It’s just a yellow bloody badge.
