Evening,

Car currently has standard exhaust system, and there isn't any volume !!!

Outside of expensive back boxes, a resonator delete seems to be popular, but in conjunction with the standard boxes would it offer anything ?
Straight pipes rather than an "X".

Tubi offer an exhaust that replaces the back boxes completely, which saves a huge amount of weight but i'm guessing that makes it very loud.

Has anybody changed anything just to get some sound out of it ?

Thanks

I experimented with various solutions and the one I liked most was straight centre pipe and Tubi backbox delete plus carbon fibre intake box. Sounded amazing but not too loud inside the car.

Tubi replacement pipes for the back boxes are a very good addition, definitely not too loud, the tubi alternative boxes were known to give a lot of resonance in the cabin

So it's working as intended, why change it?

I changed the back boxes and decatted mine. Sounded epic. Oh and you’ll need to be friendly with your local MOT guy….

Give these guys a call https://www.scuderiacarparts.com/, they're the experts. I'd see if they can do something switchable; if so, I'd thoroughly recommend it. Makes early morning getaways and those occasions where you don't want too much attention much less stressful.

That is wrong is so many ways.
Break the law and annoy everyone with a loud exhaust.
Break the law and poison the air by removing emission control equipment.
Find a corrupt MOT tester who will risk jail time and losing his MOT license forever.

I absolutely agree. If you want volume then wind your window down and you'll find it isn't all that quiet after all. It is supposed to be a GT and when you actually use the car to go on a decent length journey you will appreciate the efforts Ferrari went to to keep cabin noise down. The thing with most of these exhausts is that they are stupidly loud outside the car all in order to "bypass" the sound-deadening inside the car. Just stick a microphone on your exhaust and relay it into the cabin. It will cost a lot less, you can switch it off when you're fed up with it and you will still pass the MOT, be able to drive on track and go on long trips without ending up deaf.

PH in not understanding what GT actual means fail.
The only ppl who want silly loud exhausts on a GT car are those who don’t use the car for GT purposes. Otherwise you soon find out the female companion alongside objects.

Mine has a switchable interior noise level enhancer, that also has further benefits of feeding fresh air into the cabin, allowing one to converse with people outside the vehicle such as errant children, plus the ability to receive or deposit tickets for tolls and car parks. It's called the electric window switch and is handily located on both ends of the main switch panel on the central dashboard.

Simply wind the window (either side) down a tad and voila, exhaust noise. When closed you get blissful quiet, with the distant rumble of a 12 cv powerhouse when it's extended. Also passers by don't take you for an utter bell end with a shorty exhaust ruining their day. Works a treat i find.

Agree. I just had the Tubi back boxes on mine and it was perfect. No cabin boom either.
