How long do we think the 812 SF and GTS will be around and available to order? I had thought the V12 would be around for a while but with the pace of change hotting up, I really do wonder if its days are numbered.

Ferrari already announced an all electric vehicle due in '25. Others seem to be moving in that direction so as not to be left behind. Our affection for fast, gloriously noisy supercars is going to be put to the test in the not too distant future.

so will the next one be a hybrid? Or will there be a last "simple" one, now that they seem to hybridise (is that a word?) the rest of the range?

It looks like the 812 Competizione A will be on the production line until summer 2023. With Euro 7 coming in 2025/26, 100% ice cars will no longer be viable. Limited time to sell a new model, hence looks like hybrid V12 the only option for upcoming Purosangue and La Ferrari replacement?

Do you think the Purosangue is going to be V12? I would have thought either the V6 or V8 hybrid drive trains are going to be enough…

Happy to say I have an allocation for seemingly one of the last 812 GTS’s. As I understand it, the 812 will make way next year for the Competizione - something like 8 months production in itself - and then who knows what’s next?

Impossible to know for sure but might be the last pure combustion V12, so will definitely be a keeper. The Carfection review has put blue tdf on my radar, would yellow be a huge mistake? Otherwise, Grigio alloy, one of the “posh” reds (fuoco, Maranello etc) or do I match my recent F8 Spider with blu corsa? I have a month to make up my mind, would be good to go back to the atelier in Maranello but who knows if they will have re-opened?

Personally on a GTS my favourite colour is one of the Dark Greens. I've seen both Verde Scuro and Verde British Racing.

replace the yellow calipers with black or silver ones, and that is pretty much perfect

Edit: and remove the shields
