hi all,
I really need to get a good outdoor car cover for my F12. Keen to hear where people would recommend purchasing a good one which won't cost several limbs to be exchanged in order to get one!

Many thanks.

I am also looking for one and my searches had yielded this but don't have any first hand reviews..

i also came across these guys, but haven't really heard of them... have you come across any others? I am surprised - something like this is harder to source than i originally thought.

I find specialised covers to be the best, trouble is usual wait is around 5 weeks.

Because the market is limited. Most people realise that an outdoor cover is a bad idea unless you’re scrupulous about keeping the car clean each time you put it under cover.

Had 4 from this firm & they're superb imo.

Currently have an outdoor one on my 720 & an indoor one on my old 911, well made & keeps them immaculate...

Another vote for specialised covers. The best quality cover I have ever used and would not go elsewhere. I have one for my F12 (stormshield plus) and although it is kept inside I still use this cover. The fit is excellent. They can also put reflector strips on and change the colour of the door mirror ‘ears’ so they contrast and don’t get bumped into.

I found Noah car covers to be the best, which is why after spending far too much time researching, I got one!

One query I have is about washing these. It says to wash on the car and leave to dry. But I've never thought that was a good idea, as unless it's a dry and sunny day, it might stay wet for longer than normal on the paintwork? Also, it would be difficult to get it completely clean.

That's why I bought one capable of machine washing.

However, I suppose it depends where you park. As no matter what cover you get, if it's really dirty, then it won't be as breathable. If it's not getting dirty, then it matters less.

I would go against the grain here and to say don’t buy one. Just wash it more often. The damage a car cover can cause sometimes isn’t worth the risk
