Inflating the tires to their max. allowable pressure is recommended. Or at least something over the normal tire pressure.
Running the engine a while and using the A/C are good ideas. Be sure you start the storage with fresh oil in the engine so the oil starts with zero water and other combustion byproduct contamination and no acidity.
I would prefer I think to have the gasoline tank full to keep all the hardware in the tank submerged in gasoline. My concern is if the tank level is low the fuel level hardware might stick.
The only other thing I would worry about with a car sitting unused for a time is the possibility of rodent infestation. I know 2nd hand from the local Porsche dealer what havoc mice or larger rodents can cause. And the repair bill. Oh my.
Never had to put a car up for any length of time so I have no specific recommendations other that I would prefer to not rely on a system that required I put something in the car like dryer sheets, mothballs, etc. I would prefer a system of defense that got the critters *before* they got in the car.
Best advice in this case is to be sure the area in which the car is parked is as free of clutter/boxes/etc as possible. Mice like clutter as it provides them cover to move around. Without the clutter you can put out mouse traps -- though of course if kids or pets are around you need to use kid/pet safe traps -- and catch the critters before they get into the car. Also in catching them you have plenty of evidence they are not in the car.

I leave my 456 in a Carcoon Veloce, with a dehumidifier inside. The humidity is maintained at 50% which apparently is good enough to prevent any corrosion forming, but not too dry to dry out the leather. The Carcoon also has a battery conditioner.
I leave mine in there for 6 months or more and don't worry about starting it every so often.

My 308 is 40 years old this year and doesn't miss a beat after a few months left in a dehumidified garage through the winter. Just warming the engine is pointless imo. It's worse for the mechanicals than doing the school run. Six months is nothing. Either get it fully up to speed, with gearbox fully warmed up on a proper journey exercising all the moving parts or leave it. Any juddering from flat spots on the tyres accrued over that time will disappear after the first few miles back on the road.
