I’m afraid I don’t have any more photos. There was a Range Rover Parker in front of it with two burly men - didn’t fancy my chances!
The windows were down and it was next to a lorry that looked as though it was purpose built for can transporting. Incidentally, next to it was a vanquish zagato, also windows down as though ready to be loaded.
Thanks for the link jtremlett. I did wonder what it would be worth!

"This is not, however, the end of the story and in 1998 two further examples were built and certified by Zagato on original Ferrari 250 GTE chassis frames."
Does that make it a Continuation of a 250 GT Zagato, or a model in its own right?
All 7 (5 original and 2 GTE) are probably completely different anyway as they were pretty bespoke, so I know its fairly immaterial, but I wonder how it would work and how values would be different?

Same as the number of SWB/GTOs built on GTE chassis. They retain GTE chassis numbers, chassis and engines etc so are very similar mechanically to the car they are 'pretending' to be, for want of a better expression. The 250 engine came in various states of tune, 3/6 carbs etc. I would still class it as a GTE personally, albeit with a Zagato body so not a continuation as it's not a new car, such as the new-build DB4s etc.Does that make it a Continuation of a 250 GT Zagato, or a model in its own right?

Potentially worth more than a GTE, but nowhere near as much as an original SWB etc.
All that said, the car above is absolutely stunning and I'd have it in a heartbeat as it's more or less the same underneath as the famous models

I’m confused now - is this one of the originals or a later one? It looked incredible in the flesh. I’m forever amazed at what you can stumble upon in London. I make a point of travelling on foot between meetings where possible just for opportunities like these!

As I understand reading it, it's a later commissioned one.GZP
