Nothing wrong with the name. They first used it in the 60s. I'd prefer one of those, though
You and me both!In the 50/60/70's though names such as Superfast and Lusso were used to differentiate the variants, for example we had 500 TR, 500 Mondial and others before the 500 Superfast came along. I'd just prefer them to either stick to the more recent way of naming the cars or if they want to delve into their history (and why not) use a similar method..... But lets face it, it really doesn't matter when you look at what they're producing right now!
From what I understand, you best skip straight to step 3......i saw it last week at the factory and the photos don't do it justice.

Lord have mercy, that looks spectacular!! So now I know what to do...
Step 1: Live on beans on toast for a year.
Step 2: Raid piggy bank
Step 3: Phone dealer and beg
Step 4: Trade-in my 599
Step 5: Drive my new 812 Superfast.....fast!
Easy-peasy. Thank you. Good night.

Seawise...Out of interest, which colours did you see it in?
This could be me my first Ferrari. I nearly , so nearly left Aston for the F12 then they announced the TdF. I tried to get an order. Forget it. So I gave up and concluded that I did not want an F12 anymore when the TdF was out there. Now this, 812 Superfast ( for those not in the know, an old Feza name from the 60s). It looks awesome and no doubt will be more than any mortal can handle. I can not find anywhere to use the nearly 600 BHP of my Vanquish let alone the additional horses under this beauty. But what colour should I go for? I have been told big Ferraris should not be in Rosso. So, Tour do France blue I reckon or silver / grey. Any press driven one yet?

I would go for a dark blue with dark blue (tdf certainly sounds like a good idea or maybe Pozzi) and dark grey interior with grey stitching (possibly a leather alcantara mix) No shields, brake calipers in silver. No interior carbon. Possibly get the tdf rims in silver if they fit. I personally would also want harnesses, but doubt they will offer them on a standard car.Alternatively maybe Vinaccia exterior
Don't think the press will have driven it prior to the official Geneva reveal

Or just "settle" with an F12 Berlinetta, which looks far more elegant and 740hp is more than enough on two driven rear wheels....Step 1: Live on beans on toast for a year.
