599 - FF

I've owned 599's since 2008 and my current car has been with me for more than 4 Years now but I rarely use it these days since the arrival of my 458 Spider last Year. I know the FF can be a bit marmite but I've always liked it and came close a couple of Years ago to buying one.

I've the chance now to change, I can't really afford or justify both (plus telling my Wife she'd lose here garage space doesn't bear thinking about but everytime I look at my 599 I just see sheer beauty however wit the added practicality and usability of the FF I know I'd use it much more

Anybody have any wise words to help me make the decision? unfortunately due to a trip I've about 8 hours to confirm!

However long your trip is the FF will have depreciated some more by the time you get back

Personally think the FF looks much better than the 599 (biased). Somehow the 599 design only works for me in GTO form, with the changed bumpers.

In terms of FF driving experience - it is a bit heavy, which you can feel in faster corners. Gernerally I think you will use it a lot more though, perfect daily driver imo

Very nice. Fuoco ? Do I recall correctly your 599 was the same colour- you sold it to a dealer a few years ago then bought it back a few days later?!

Good memory colour is Rosso Maranello, a little bit darker than Fuoco

Must get my eyes tested - Rosso Maranello of course ! Enjoy- 599 is amazing but sure you will be better off with a car you use

I'm a bit late to this thread but like you (did) I also have a 599 and a 458 spider and like you, the 599 has seen a lot less use since the spider arrived but, on the plus side, this means that every time I take the 599 out it is a bit of an event. Enjoy your FF - it does look really good in that colour.
