Presumably production being switched partially to the TDF?
More to do with the ramp up of the GTC4 Lusso which is built on the same line. With a lot of orders for the Lusso and the TDF it leaves little space for the F12. Most dealers have already sold their 2016 F12 allocations. JEVS123 said:
Does anyone have any idea as to the 2016 production numbers for the F12 for the UK?
Best guess is about 1000 v12 out of 7000 cars worldwide which would suggest about 120 V12 for UK but if as noted already production is going to emphasise TDF & Lusso that does not leave many standard F12 Order books for the F12 were closed a few weeks ago. The V12 line has been re-tooled for the GTC4/Lusso and is handling the tdf. Later this year the line will be readied for the F12M, to be launched probably at Geneva next year.
I very much doubt there will be a tdf Aperta. The tdf is a hardcore coupe with arguably the most an epic NA V12 ever built in a road car, that's its place IMO in Ferrari history. There was the 599 SA which used the GTO engine but it wasn't a GTO in its set up.
But a LE F12M Aperta, at the end of its life, quite possibly.
