Love the look of the F12, however people seem to shift them on with only a few hundred miles... been offered two with less than a 1000 miles. Any reason for this?

Some just think it has too much power/ try and drive it like a 458 so don't necessarily get on with them. Great GT Cars, but think id opt for something slightly more relaxed (Vanquish) or the like for a long drive!

F12 is a great car. I've only actually driven it on track (about 40 laps of Fiorano and 30 laps of Varano). Preferred the 458 for the track (and probably in general) but I could tell the F12 makes a brilliant GT car. I've had Astons in the past including a DBS, which I loved at the time. The F12 is well ahead though and is a really well judged car. It is incredibly powerful but not to a fault - I would take one over the Aston without hesitation.

If you like front engined cars, this one is a goody. (Much better than 599 apparently).

I’ve owned many, many cars, very few of them sensible everyday drivers, i’m now down to just two cars a 599 and an F12.

The 599 has so much character a fantastic drive , I can drive it all day, get out with a smile on my face and want more.

The F12….is so much more, its undoubtedly the best car I’ve ever driven owned or been a passenger in, from Aventador to 3Ltr Capri. As a regular driver its tame quiet and almost discrete and even with the harder carbon seats quite a comfortable ride on long distances.. Then when you unleash the beast, its amazing. the sound - wow, the relentless acceleration - wow and the roadholding is amazing. Space in the boot for a weeks worth of luggage and you don’t even notice its there. If you are considering one, try all your other options, then drive the F12, in traffic, on an open road and then if you can have someone take you round a track. It took me a little time to understand how to deal with it at full tilt. The reviews on YouTube don’t do it justice, Clarkson is - entertainingly silly and Viki is so in awe of its performance she doesn’t review its practicality and drivability. Take note of Clarkson in town and Viki on the open road. You Don’t need to be a race driver to tame the F12, its really NOT a traditioanl GT, dont compare it one. Its in its own class.

Drive one, you’ll be smitten. I was !

Thanks for the input.... I think most people (me included) agree the F12 is fantastic

Went out in the 599 today and fell in love all over again... will keep her for this year and then decide...

F12 and my initials numberplate has been bought... must stay off internet when drunk...
