Is it just me or is the Tailor Made F12 Tour de France 64 just revealed on official Ferrari website hideous ?
I love Ferraris but can't help thinking some of the recent "bespoke" offerings (Sergio anyone ?)don't look great.

Going to be a bit frustrating explaining to all and sundry why your car has a big yellow stripe across the bonnet I'd imagine.

However, seeing the side profile of the GTO has brightened my day significantly, stunning

It's a great colour scheme on a car of the appropriate era. I think it looks as naff on the F12 as it did on the 599 GTO.

ETA - love the seats though.

I get that it's a traditional livery, with motorsport history on a fabulous car. But not convinced it looks right on a completely different car, even in homage.

Chris Evans had this livery on his 599GTO IIRC

I started out looking for an Argento Maranello and had imagined that I might get the Giallo Fablon out for a trip to Le Mans...

The F12 Tour de France 64 looks good to me but I would take the blue Nomex(?)seats and avoid the "Tributo 'carcere di labirinto' protesto sporchi" leather ones.

Pic 5/15.

The more angular the cars become the less the paint scheme works IMO. And don't get me started on those seats!

I agree with the comments and it is noticeable how much worse the stripe looks on the F12 compared with the 599GTO! Not sure what colours look best on an F12 but it is a complicated shape.

It looks silly on all of the cars IMO.

I agree - all the recent bespoke offerings have had a whiff of dogs dinner about them. Sergio and EC included.

I disagree - I don't like all of them but I love that we're seeing coachbuilt cars more and have more options in spec'ing our cars.
I wouldn't order buy a Sergio (even if I wasn't poor) but I've had a good look at one and I appreciate the thought and ideas that have gone into it and I think it's great that Ferrari and Pininfarina have put it out there.

As for the OP's original question, that livery doesn't quite sit right for me on the F12 but on the 250 GTO I wouldn't be looking for a respray (above are saying it looks silly?!?!?!??), and I think it sits comfortably on the 599 GTO.

Visual appeal is subjective, while I don't like all the options people tick on their cars I prefer that to seeing the majority of cars spec'ed in metallic grey as we did a few years ago.
As regulation nails down more and more, variation, even if it's not to my taste, I'm appreciating more.
