Just 3 miles between the 5 services 2006 -13. Don't they road test them at all?

I wouldn't suggest such a thing, but I would like mine driven by someone with the experience of regularly driving similar cars to make sure I wasn't just putting up with something that could be rectified. Surely one of the benefits of a main dealer service, no? I understand that the main dealers collect and deliver in covered transporters, but it just strikes me as unusual for it not to have a shakedown, either prior, or post service just to make sure everything is as it should be.

agreed. it takes more than three miles to get everything up to temperature and operating normally just once !

That does sound somewhat odd.
You'd want for at least to have had it driven around the block a couple of times to check everything's working
I'm sure the service schedule includes a road test ?

I suppose someone who never drives the car doesn't care whether everything is as it should be or not?

Then why bother to have it serviced annually............??
Perhaps only because your butler hasn't got enough other stuff to do?

With the chance of a fire starting due to a perished rubber hose because of lack of use ?
Would you risk it ?

Couldn't live with that colour bombination. Truly painful in my eyes. I wouldn't drive it either.

Bombination is probably right. but I did mean to type combination.

I quite like the colours. The red leather will be far less red in reality than in a photo IME.

Owner could have specified no test drives when serviced especially if they bought the car only as a potential investment?

It's the same interior I have in mine, and you're right it is darker in reality, almost a maroon colour. I love it, but not so sure it goes with TdF though
