I wondered that with regs. the 456. At the Silverstone Classic this year a 456 made £50k at auction. It would appear watching the classifieds that low mileage, manual cars do sell. Its higher mileage autos that seem to struggle. Surely they are following the likes of the 550/575.

Because it had the very rare loop of wire instead of lever to open the bonnet........

Bargain for me was the RS America...I'd have put my hand in my pocket for that - made £64k....so probable just as well I didn't go this year!!!!!

Some crazy prices for some stuff though - the 456 made me chuckle - and the 328 was mad mad money. Cheap 512BB - but what's the cost of putting it back to standard?...

Absolutely agree - should have gone for multiples of that. And a 450bhp V12 in a car weighing a trifle over a tonne! Shows you what is possible if a manufacturer puts their mind to it.

Yup, what's mroe the premium over the XJ220 is just totally wrong. The interior of the XJR-15 looks like a very special place (and ratehr cramped due to the massive carbon sills) but the XJ 220 just looks like parts bin gash....you could be in a Mondeo.
