Don't particularly see the issue. He isn't spraying it directly into the cabin. I would probably wash it at home with the roof up, but then it's not my car
Witnessed several big waves of water was up over the top of the windscreen as well as spray and a lot of spray whilst washing the side windows and rear deck.

"Roof up" ..... you have to be joking, it would take ages to get put on , leak while he washed it, and ages to get off again and never fit back properly in the crazy bag it is supposed to fit back in!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have to wash them by hand with a hose without a spray on it.... Nightmare

If that amount of water is entering the cabin possibly it isn't his car?
That's what I thought. But even if I had to wash a car for someone, I'd do it with the windows up. Even the guys working in car washes ask you to put your roof up if you wait in queue with the roof down.gaters said:

If you know anything about 550 Bachetta's you will know the "roof" is just a token gesture.
I dont remember the number, but the roof is so poor there is a reccomended very slow speed limit with it on.
Having the roof on would not have saved the interior from getting wet and it would have taken ages to do.
Maybe it was just dusty and he was giving it a quick blast and then he was just about get his leather out of the boot and dry it off. Or maybe he really is as nutty as the picture suggests?
Its a rare model and worth plenty of money, so I am giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Mainly sold in sunnier climes like California, not really designed to have a roof at all.
