I am going to have to sell my FF.
During the week I park on the street in Belgravia. Last night a neighbour’s Bentley was targeted by thieves who used an angle grinder to cut 2 modules out of both sides of the front bumper. My Rosso Maranello FF was parked opposite. The police has said that my car was also a “significant target”.
So, with huge regret, I’m going to give up and revert to my older, less attractive cars. The FF has been the perfect car for me, and I am so sad that it has come to this in Belgravia and Knightsbridge.

Get yourself an underground parking space. I pay £350/month in SW3.During the week I park on the street in Belgravia. I would add to the FF recommendation of MP4S, got those and Centre Gravity to do some alignment and it’s like a different car. Maximises steering feel, better front end grip which amazes me given the lump up front and super progressive rear meaning it’s not scary to take traction control off.
It feels like a new model like when manufacturers do the whole “performance/plus/CS” type update and everyone raves it’s better than the standard model.

Don't you need an old shape key to start the FF? Unlike GTC4 etc, that can be stolen via relay etc.?During the week I park on the street in Belgravia. Hi All, I collected and drove home the latest Collecting Cars FF today.
Put 300 miles on it, really love the powertrain and interior, was fantastic.
In terms of handling the car has some quirks I can't quite put my finger on. The rear feels like it's wandering a bit occasionally and and can be provoked with a bit of power. It sometimes happens when swapping lanes, it will just feel like the rear is following a road camber and makes the car feel a bit detached.
Tyre pressures were initially high (36psi all round) so lowered to 29F and 33R which helped a lot, but still not perfect. It doesn't feel dangerous, but makes me less inclined to even attempt to lean on the chassis yet or even use full throttle with real confidence on a dry road.
Tyres appear to be 2019 vintage P Zero, plenty of tread but some slight perishing marks on the front shoulders.
I'll be distracted for a few weeks with my track car and some other antics but once back, I'm looking forward to making some small improvements to this FF. Paintwork looks like it could benefit massively from some correction and if I can sort this handling foible it will be fantastic.
I'll book it in for a suspension alignment to rule that out, but are there any other failure points worth investigating? I've got 5 mo of Ferrari warranty on it so the sooner I can engage with any issues, the better!
Hey Fonzy... I had the same with a used 2012 FF I bought in 2019. It felt like the NSR shock was duff. The handling was decidedly odd. It was rear geo only in the end. A local tyre place, with a Hunter, fixed it with accurate alignment. The rear is so sensitive to toe in, just a few arc minutes made all the difference. I've never known a setup that was that sensitive. It can all be adjusted from underneath at the rear without taking the undertrays off. It's all locknut adjustment too, not shims or hard work.Put 300 miles on it, really love the powertrain and interior, was fantastic.

After a couple of sets of P Zeros, I too discovered the MP4S. It's like I only had 80-90% of the car's performance on the Pirellis.

I think the interior leathers work really well.
The only thing that would make me reluctant is the silvery plastic paddles. The carbon fibre paddles are really nice to touch and use. I drive on the paddles 95% of the time so this is an important touch point and key interaction with the car for me. However if you don't use the paddles much then this is much less important.
From a design point of view I actually think the silver suits this colour scheme better

Thank you! The car is in for alignment as I type and also have tyres on order, so fingers crossedAfter a couple of sets of P Zeros, I too discovered the MP4S. It's like I only had 80-90% of the car's performance on the Pirellis.
