Hello has anyone noticed something wrong with the front bonnet on the silver 430 manual advertised with Meridian Modena?

Hadn’t looked closely at it.

However looking at the pictures of the car front on, (picture 2) it would appear the bonnet looks lower at the left side, same issue in picture 5 to my eyes.

In picture 3 the bonnet looks fine though?

Would be worth requesting a walk round video if you were interested in the car.

Never dealt with Meridian but my friend bought a Testarossa from them and used them for servicing.

I think it is very noticeable on a few pictures. Either bonnet is too low at one side or bumper is sitting high. It could have been in an accident or just as simple the bumper was off for paint but not put back on very well.

A manual f430 might be the unicorn for me. I wish I was in a position to put an offer on one.

There's a video walk-around on their YT channel, and that bonnet is definitely not right. Being silver doesn't help hide it either!

It just could be that someone's carelessly slammed the bonnet shut by the left hand leading edge, and therefore bent it. It is aluminium after all.

On 360/F430 you're supposed to lower and rest the bonnet on its catch first, and then press down on the nose badge to secure it.

And the front bumpers on all 360/F430s can sag over time. They just need to be carefully re-aligned and tightened up again.

Have you driven one? I've owned one and honestly you could save a lot of money by finding a nice manual 360.

Interesting. Have you owned both?

I test drove the the 430 and gallardo years ago. I preferred the 430 but didn’t buy it. I have owned a 550 and 355 manual. I loved the 550 but wish it sounded more like a 355. Recently I have owned a 599 but I felt it was too big and I really like a manual. I was thinking a 430 manual might tick all the boxes.

I have indeed, and the F430 in both manual and F1 and did many thousands of miles in each. The F430 isn't as well suited to the manual because of the E-Diff that the model was designed around. Honestly the 360 is a better manual experience. I've had a 550 too and it's better than all of them. My favourite.

This is very interesting. Thank you for sharing.

I am currently in a manual, convertible V8 Ferrari shaped rabbit hole.

Started looking at a 355, dismissed as too much of a challenge to service and I don’t think I would fit at 6’5”. Do think it’s the prettiest of them all.

Moved to 360 manual, it seems to be the best “compromise” - I don’t mean that in an offensive way.

Then looked at 430 manual, but seems a >£50k uplift … for what? Slightly more modern looks?

And at >£125k you’re in 458 territory, although obvs not manual.

Being new to the world of Ferrari, quite surprised there are very few specialised (friendly!!) dealers who have ample stock of all to talk you through it and help you find the right one.
Spoke to multiple, none really interested to help unless you point at one to buy.

That does look very odd. Interesting interior though, racing seats but no carbon.
