I have a F430 spider and the OEM speakers and knackered. Any suggestions on what to replace them with? Is it worth buying an amp or anything else to improve the sound. I’ll be keeping the OEM CD unit as I don’t want anything garish, also not interested in modifying door cards or adding a sub between the seats etc. Thanks in advance

Speak to Auto Audio in Park Royal. Vast experience with the F430 and can suggest various solutions.

I've done this with mine, beyond the slightly different tweeter pods (from Scuderia Audio in the US) you can't see the difference. In short, Focal speakers (tweeters and woofers, ruler on the box was for some dude straining about dimensions) and an Audison amp tucked up behind the dash, bluetooth dongle and Becker OEM head unit. Woofers went straight in, tweeters in the pods as shown. An absolute world of difference. Work carried out by John Kleis Audio in Reading.

Thanks for your help - sorry I should qualify I’m in New Zealand so something that can be easily sent and installed by my local guy would be ideal

Well anything can be sent anywhere and as for your local guy, only you know what he’s capable of. If he’s that good, he can source the stuff himself?

Deffo get an amp. Doesn’t have to be a bass-x pildriver 9000, but any moderate aftermarket amp is so far in front of even the highest end head unit it’s laughable…
