Previously owned a 16M and part exchanged it recently. Am looking for a Speciale Aperta but was wondering why they were more than twice the price of a 16M. Are they really worth the difference or should I get a 16M back in the collection?

16m's are just undervalued for some reason

I agree. Doesn’t make sense.

16M is my perfect Ferrari.

Hope to chop in my scud for one someday. Premium to the S.A. is probably mainly due to the Speciale being the great hope for a lot of collectors/investors.

Full bore gear shifts in a 16M with the roof down is one of the most incredible automotive experiences. It's nuts!

the scud gearbox is amazing

it's as close to a racing box as I've driven on the road

smacking through the gears on a back road is probably the most enjoyable part of driving one

agreed best non-manual I have ever driven. So much better than the various DCTs I have driven.
I still regret selling my Scuderia last year - I remember telling the dealer if no deal in the next week then I pull it and register it again ... then a guy bought it. Should have been firm and kept it as I had just spent nearly 30k on it.

ah well ....

I owned a 16M from 2010 to 2022 and took it to France and Spain and loved it. Lid off screaming through the gears was just insane. I instantly regretted the sale and last month found another and bought it just had a hip operation and cannot wait to get fit enough to get into it.

Congratulations! I miss my Scuderia. I might have to copy that approach eventually and buy another one.

I see your garage has grown quite a bit since April 2015 when you were in Italy with the GTO and I never made it there in the GT2 and instead spent some time in the hospital ….
