355 Sticky Dash Vents (again!)
Discussion
Hi Simmos, interesting to know, thanks. I'm not adverse to having a go, in fact I already had a go with some wipes, microfibre which seemed to remove the goo down oneside of the passenger vent trim. Not sure it it has lost the satin type finish tho'
Over the other interior parts which suffer from this, the vents look tricky and fiddly with all the vents compared with say door handles and other areas.
Would you be happy to share the process and products you used?
TIA

I did some parts of my Maserati with Elbow Grease de-greaser and a micro fibre cloth. There is also a chap in UK works under the name of Sticky Plastics

The 355 trim will all come out quite easily - there are various guides on youtube and maybe stickynomore.
I've found nail polish remover to be very effective, and needing less rubbing/no abrasive sponges compared to oven cleaner and the like.
Also used www.carplastix.com/ on some components and they were very good, but may be duty to pay as sending back from the EU.

btw I have loads of the waterslide decals for the vent arrows left as I had an A4 sheet printed by https://phoxydesign.co.uk/products/custom-watersli... - if anyone wants some, DM me.

I would be really interested in some decals if you still have any left, as all mine are worn off (or not replaced when the de-stickying was done previously). I'll send a DM. Gassing Station | Ferrari V8 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
