Has anyone got one due to arrive? What was the purchasing experience like? I'm not really one for 'special models' - but this one looks rather special. Is it limited edition - or an open edition (I think I know the answer anyway).
All sold to existing clients I'm afraid. 799 coupes and 599 spiders. IainF said:

All sold to existing clients I'm afraid. 799 coupes and 599 spiders. testing revealed the sf90 wasnt a good enough (fast) platform for an xx car so during development they scrapped it and made a road legal version
exclusive car but imo not worth the insane price difference to a normal sf, would be suprised if it trades at a premium that's anywhere near the tdf or 812c

something similar over on Ferrarichat..

Most of the English speaking YouTube videos on the XX have been pretty useless. Very little experience with the original SF90 and thus can't make any useful comparisons, disappointment around it not being a true XX, being surprised by softness in the non-AF suspension, etc... They are almost as bad as the original SF90 reviews themselves.
I suspect we won't get a real understanding of what the XX is like until actual SF90 owners take delivery of their XXs and post impressions.
I agree those original SF90 reviews were terrible, think Steve Sutcliffe was only journalist in UK to go back last year and say the same in 2020 but in 2023 was now a big fan of AF SF90.. however these XX reviews do strike a cord with me.. I still don’t understand the point of this car, how I would use it and no way worth nearly 3 times a AF SF90. It feels ‘jack of all trades master of none’ to me. IMHO, XX project has been diminished with this Road Version for the benefits of shareholders..

No that’s not my comments on Ferrarichat.. think they mean UK prices which is not far off, when I specced mine it came to £880k and used ones are now £300k.. I didn’t take my allocation due to upgrade cost from SF90 and would look a tt on Marlow High Street in it and way better track cars for a lot less money, 488 Challenge Evo for example.

Just shows how hard they think they need to work to shift these things.
yepthink that's spot on, obviously the SF90 has been a (pretty rare) big miss for Ferrari and the marketing guys have been doing overtime to try to keep the revenue on target
in time the SF90 is going to be a great value buy
