Does anyone know why this 360 went for such a low price at £45k? It only had 20k on the clock and a manual. Looks like someone got a bargain.

Poor service history but otherwise a bargain.

I would guess because it’s due a service, it has an 8 year gap in its service history and, finally, because it is not a sought after colour combination.

And auction sales are not doing that well at the moment.

Gap in servicing could mean some big bills on the way. These cars like to be used and maintained

First thing to remember is that this cost the buyer £48,240, not £45,000
That's about £9000 cheaper than a similar car on sale on Autotrader.

Why so cheap? Firstly it's a private sale, so sold as seen with no comeback. The cheapest classified ads are all at dealers, which comes with legal protection for buyers. Even worse it's an auction with an upfront buyers fee, so unless the buyer was able to go and see it they have to pay £3240 even if they go and see the car and decide it's not as decribed, so extra risky for the buyer.

Add to all that the fact that it's not a desirable colour combo and manuals don't command the same kind of premium on the 360 as they do on the 430 as they are not as rare. Finally it has gone 18 months without a service, so the buyer needs to budget for that and allow for the potential of a big bill almost immediately. Lastly, rocketing interest rates means the value of most supercars have taken a big hit recently; expensive cars generally aren't moving, and those that are will be especially desirable or are keenly priced.

At £48240 it's a reasonably good deal, but tough to conclude it's a bargain.

I've noticed 355 and 430 auction prices still remain quite strong, maybe the 360 has fallen out of favour again.

It was never in favour relative to the other two models you quote (except when it was new but that was some time ago hehe )

I don’t think the 430’s any different.. this is down about 15 - 20k in the last 12 months.

Add 20k to that 360, at 68k and you have last years price.

Prices do seem to be all over the place. This 430 sold recently for a very healthy sum. I guess it's manual, which accounts for the price.

Sam's 360 coming to market soon, an awesome spec car, it will either be a bargain due to the miles or it will fetch strong money due to the spec and of course his long ownership and many youtube videos of the car and how its been a no expense spared car:

Yes, interesting to see what this fetches. I suspect the stigma of 'high' miles in a Ferrari will mean this struggles to get much above £50k but agree its a super sorted car. Just a pity its fitted with those ridiculous harnesses.

Surely anyone looking for a 360 would have to seriously consider this car. In this case the Youtuber element is a definite plus making the car a known quantity which there aren't many you can say that about

Shame he's selling. Was great to watch the videos of the car and good publicity for the 360.

Hope he gets good money.

It was Sam's videos which inspired me to get a 360 manual, mine was also a car that has been resident with Aldous at AV Engineering for the past few years under his care, I absolutely love it, cost me a fair bit at £70,000 but every other 360 I looked at were poor examples and the one I thought was decent come back with 20k plus worth of work from the inspection, after looking at several I was staring to think a decent example did not exist, at the time if Sam was selling his I would of purchased it but in fairness I'd have wanted to pay 60k or less due to the miles and lack of seatbelts, but otherwise Sam has a stunning car.

Here is mine:

I absolutely love driving the 360, even up against a 600 LT Spider and 458 Italia, the 360 is by no means the weak link, I absolutely love driving it, great manual gated gearbox and the 360 rides a British wet B road superbly well, it does have PS5 fitted and is running CS alignment settings, but in short the 360 is a fabulous drivers car that is very engaging without going daft speeds, plus its more than quick enough to be fun and entertaining on the road.

Shame Sam is selling. Whoever buys it will know that its a car thats been sorted by the best.

I have had my 360 for 3 years, at first I wondered if I had done the right thing, but the more I have driven driven it the more I "get it", it rewards time and effort spent getting to know it, its quick enough for 99% of driving on the public road, isnt stupid expensive to run and isn't something everyone sees every day.

Quite a number of people have said they watched Seen through Glass and discovered the 360 again. It was good publicity.

Love mine, everything about it. And the Tubi loud is great too.
