There was a longish thread here on 488 Pista Prices about 2 years ago.
I have been watching the market for about 4 months, I am not if sure any of them have sold.
For example, my local dealer (Dick Lovett) has had 6 for sale for as long as I have been watching. DL does not own all of them, I think 3 are SOR. There are currently 41 on Autotrader (coupes + spiders).
I have driven one they are amazing on the road. Anyone got any inside info on the market situation on these cars. Are Ferrari telling dealers to keep them priced high, I have seen no dealer reductions in price.
If you watch 812SF prices you see the odd £5k coming off every month or so on some.
In my experience dealers will not budget a £ on the price, is there any opportunity for an offer here on these £320k+ cars.. Any thoughts ?

There is never any harm in making an offer. The worst that can happen is they don't accept it. I bought a car (not a Pista) from DL in 2019. I initially offered about 14% below the asking price. They politely declined. I politely made a revised offer which I made clear was final and we agreed a deal at about 10% below the asking price.

Exactly. If there's money on the table 99% of people will negotiate.

I think they're a little overpriced atm, £450k for a spider seems insane

Way too much supply and not enough demand.

And here we are wondering why prices aren't coming down with only one guy chasing 41 cars while over on the other channel (V12 forum) we have three guys chasing nine FFs and they're wondering why prices are going up!

strangley there aren't many F8s around and they seem to be asking around 100k less, but prices don't move either.

Too many Pistas built imo, these prices need to dip below 300k for the low mileage ones if they're to start moving...

Plenty of F8's for sale just adverts taken down until the March madness will stand a few more £££££

Back of the showroom, Pista Coupes are dealing at 265 to 275, imagine Spiders deals would be 360 to 370.. pitch on one in Winter at 350 and pieces might fall into place.. 399 definitely still toppy.

Are we talking 265-275 trade, or retail deals being done in the showroom?

Retail.. after a few attempts, not straight off the bat. Tailor made stuff 290.

Interesting, thanks smile

I’m happy at 300-310 for a spider but doubt i’ll see that as a result of winter..

Looks like a wrap though and non std. wheels, i’m probably way off but nonetheless it looks that way vs the other colours available, that darker red the guy just posted as his new acquisition is just beautiful, suits the car very well.

£65k drop in ‘asking’ price over last 10 months

Do we think we’ll see a sub 300 decent spider over winter months?
