Are order books closed now for the 296?

Yes: comments from 2 weeks ago https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Most GTB dealer demos are now up for sale plus some dealers have zero mile 'cancelled' orders and/or are about to receive back first customer cars due to GTS deliveries beginning

PS its a V6 not a V8 ! https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&...

Ironically when I was in Meridien Moderna 2-3 weeks ago, they were still taking orders for all models of 296.

The wait time was 2 years for a GTB 2.5 years for the spider.

I wonder what the point is that Ferrari's bold pricing is starting to meet the (falling?) demand curve - I think the SF90 has demonstrated that and is less to do with the model as the price?

I was offered (out of the blue) a delivery slot for Autumn build just last week. I’ve bought a few previous Ferrari so maybe this was an ‘invite’. Anyway, wonderful car, but not for me and will just have to make do roughing it in my 812.
