Hi all,

I was about to buy a 458 spec, but feel for 200k less, the Scud isn’t a 200k lesser car bang for buck.

Anything I should look out for? Bar the usual, clutch wear disc wear?

Cheers in advance,

good luck - the Scuderia is an amazing drivers car on road and track in my opinion. I enjoy the gearbox much more than a dual-clutch box. Get a proper geo put on it though, makes the car much more enjoyable.

stuff that was replaced on my car over the last few years:
exhaust manifolds
exhaust backbox (twice)
ball joints / general suspension wear and tear items
brake pads

At least on the continent the market seems to be slow, mine has been for sale for a while and not sure it will sell (price was already reduced once) - will be interesting to see, if it does not sell, then I will happily take it back.

Good luck

Amazing cars but plenty to watch for

Manifolds Crack
Engine mounts go
Ball joints and bushings always need doing, normal for any 360/430
Cats fail
Backboxes leak
Rear lights wobble off
The few switches they have can go sticky

Worth it though

Congrats - amazing cars

Get a geo done (needs more camber) and take it on track
I run Cup 2 tyres as I found the Corsas have less grip (although that might have been tyre age related as they were used when I got them)

My car now has c 77k km on it, so they hold up well to use.

Enjoy!
