Speciale Black Badges (Standard or Aftermarket?)
Discussion
Hi,
I'm currently on the lookout for a Speciale at the moment. Probably buying at the height of the market, but a discussion for another day.
I have a few preferred specs, which I know is a difficult thing when looking for a limited edition car.
I've noticed that a lot of Speciale's have black Cavallino badges on the side and wheel centre caps, which I really don't like (each to their own).
Are these aftermarket, or were you able to order a Speciale with these black badges?
I know these are a very simple thing to change, so I won't be taking them into consideration... but would like to know if they were an option from the factory?
Thanks in advance for your help.

By black badges I assume you mean the carbon fibre ones which were indeed a factory option but also could be retrofitted. The scuderia shields bolt in from behind the wing.
You can get them easily replaced with standard yellow backed centre caps and scuderias and revert them if required to return to spec.
