I would be very surprised if that was the case.
edit: (I realise thats not a very useful comment on its own! Just going from past experience with Ferrari they really are not keen on discounts!)

I was told a while back that there was a small deposit contribution if funding via FFS. Also some cancelled orders with deposits already paid… so I guess it could add up to a bit? Can’t factory order though; I was offered a car with about £70k of extras on, which even with £25k off is madness on a Roma imo.

I have heard from 2 different people now of Ferrari offering kickbacks of between 20-25% on the Roma...anyone managed to get this level of discount? I have manaed 15.5% so far just by making a few phone calls. Ferrari finance must be used to get these deals.
25% on a Roma equates to £50k….not in a million years 😂😂The best hope for a discount is to pick up a cancelled order where the £25k deposit can help move the car on, £40k for my 812 GTS. With those numbers, you need to be pretty certain when signing the order form. My dealer is very short of both new allocation and secondhand stock so I would expect discounts are hard to come by. I didn’t try, was happy just to get an allocation at all.
Gents these discounts are on orders to spec. Build slots are available for delivery in January 22 if ordered this month!
Ferrari have miscaulcated the demand for the Roma and have plenty of build slots available and these discounts being offered as to fill up these builds. This was information given to me by the dealer.
There are also a few F8 spider build slots available but only minor discount was offered on these (circa 2-3%). I was surprised to hear that you can also walk in and buy a SF Stradale too as there ar cars available. I thought this was one of those Halo cars that only people with major Ferrari history could buy.

Eddie - my laments against the Roma are detailed in other threads on here.
I’ve used one as a daily driver for a week, hence why I put 1000miles on one.
Ergonomically that interior is disastrous on the road in normal driving. The touch pad stuff is lethal in traffic when trying to work out the sat nav etc. The central sat nav is unusuable in quite a bit of sunlight due to its angle. It’s MMI isn’t brilliant when trying to do inputs.
The boot is rubbish for shoving decent amount of bags in…again I used it my daily driver, which in my life is leaving home for 2-3 days each week. The rear seats are at least useful for shoving crap on.
The sound is just …dross. Taffy thinks I’m harsh comparing it my F12, but I’m not. It’s dross compared to my V8 diesel Cayenne. At 30-80leptons it’s just a diesel drone.
On the plus side it rides ok. The steering has more weight and feel than my F12. The gearbox is probably “nicer”. It looks stunningly fantastic.
But it’s £140-160k car. With options. Not £200k with options. At that level you are better with an F12 or 812 every day of every week.

Thanks, I didn't have that kind of exposure to it. Sounds horrific tbh for that kind of money.I’ve used one as a daily driver for a week, hence why I put 1000miles on one.

Interesting comments about the Roma. I was in DL the other week and they had a kind of dark turquoise one in there that my wife took an instant shine to and I must admit I was rather taken with it as well. However I was proper surprised at the price, well over £200k which I thought was just daft. In the end said she preferred the Portofino in the corner.
Never quite understood the Roma - I just don’t find the styling at all interesting or spectacular, and the front grill…a total no no for me.
But where does this car sit? I can understand them wanting a bit of the Aston Martin market, but surely the 812 does that and does it more convincingly. Then there is the Portofino which is the daily driver and the best of both worlds - a hard top convertible.
So who picks the Roma and is happy to pay £200k plus?

Both myself and my 18yr old son have recently test driven the Roma and the latest Portofino M and we both much preferred the latter from a driving pov. When my son jumped out of the Portofino M he straight away declared it had the better steering which i concurred with 100%. If I was in the market for this type of car I'd have the Portofino M over the Roma without hesitation as i think its the better car.

Interestingly the Roma is priced on par with a 570S/Portofino here in Australia so it seems its market positioning in the UK is quite a bit higher, which explains issues with the pricing.Kid B said:

it's priced just £6k higher than the portofino in the ukany further differences are down to people nailing carbon fibre options to it !
