US prices seem crazy at the moment. Anything manual is $$$$
I vaguely follow the market through Ferrarichat… chat. Also I watched this last night and it has some crazy prices under discussion: https://youtu.be/BnC0wMSJ8Kw

USA prices last year for S2000's were crazy, so I purchased one last year whilst they were still cheap, paid 14k.
Now a year later the same car here is 22k, we tend to lag the USA by around 9-18 months.
Next Summer I think its fair to say 458 pricing will move up nicely, maybe another 10k or so on current prices and Speciale's probably a further 30-50k on top of the already high prices.
People are realising how special some cars are, S2000 was the most powerful output per litre engine until the 458 came along. Both 9000rpm screamers with pinpoint throttle response and not overly grippy setups so they are huge fun and enjoyable at legal speeds.
I own an S2000 and 458, though gonna be selling the S2000 soon I think as I've had my fun and its now worth 6-8k more than I paid so time to move it on, plus I got a 987.2 Spyder couple of months ago and its bloody amazing, last of the best Porsches for steering feel and enjoyment on the road before the EPAS came along and very leggy gearing.
