Just been told by Ferrari that the 7 year service plan only covers the first 6 services. I assume this is correct as it has come from a dealership but came as a surprise. I figured that a car that had a 7 year service plan and required annual servicing would have 7 services included.

Has anyone had their 7th annual service done as part of the service plan?

Thanks

Isn't that logical?

I don't know when the first service is due - but even if it's only a few months after buying the car - you'd still only accrue 6 services in 7 years wouldn't you?

Maybe. My way of thinking was that if a car is due a service after exactly one year then you really only get 6 years of serving as on the 6th year anniversary of owning a car you get the final service done but sill have another year of service plan??

Perhaps it’s to allow for a delay in serving.

I'm sure that's not right, I'm certain my FF was serviced for free at Dick Lovett at 7 years old, I paid for the 1st time when it was 8 Years old almost to the day

I've just bought an almost 4 year old Ferrari and the dealer has told me that I have 4 services left.

Quite easy; it’s any required servicing within 7 years of registration. Only thing you have to be careful with is any late services as there is a window (think up to 6 weeks early or 3 months late). If your running a bit behind (which can happen if slightly late every year and falling behind) then you can sometimes miss the last included service.

Thanks. To be clear then, it should be 7 services if done on time and assuming an annual service schedule?

Have Ferrari made any Covid/Lockdown allowances for delayed servicing when it comes to the 7 year limit?

It includes seven free services in total up to the car's seventh anniversary.

Just to be pedantic, I think it includes all scheduled services within the 7 years, so if you pile on the miles you can get more than 7...
