F355 GTS Tall Driver

Love the car but never really drive it being 6ft 4 it’s rather uncomfortable. main issues are seating position (leg room) and footwell space - my left foot can’t get on the clutch properly.

First change would be a smaller momo wheel and swap out the manual seats. Would that help with leg room? If I installed custom rails for aftermarket seats could that be reversed to fit the originals?

When the roof is slotted behind the seats I guess I’ll always loose that space. Is their any hope to ever to get to fit comfortably in?

I found the same with the GTS so ended up buying the GTB, you could try fitting the carbon sport seats these sit lower in the car and would probably go back further. I know original sport seats are like hens teeth to get but you can buy sport seats from recaro or sparco and if the OEM look is important have them re trimmed

I believe Jeremy Clarkson is 6'4". He said, in an article back in the day, that he specced the carbon seats for his 355 GTS because they offered the extra headroom required.

I’m 6’5” and never really had any issue with the GTS (standard seats) above normal sports/super cars.

Of course, couldn’t drive with the roof stowed behind the seats though. Remember being caught out by a torrential downpour 20miles from home with no roof. Seem to remember that brightened everone else’s day!
