How much of an improvement does the CS TSU make over the standard 360 F1 change?

I’ve driven an F1 430 and the changes on that were noticeably better than my 360’s… would the CS TCU upgrade put the 360 on a similar footing?

Cheers

Hi,
It makes a world of difference and completely transforms the car. Gear changes are a lot quicker and you also get a great blip of the throttle on down shifts.
I kept mine from my old 360 so once you get some more feed back and want to buy one drop me a dm.
There not plug and play though, you need to get them set up by an independent to your vehicle and do a re learn on the gear changes etc.

Cannot speak for Ferrari, but as long as all the mechanical hardware between the different model cars is the same, then absolutely the software upgrades do pay dividends.

I remember having an M3 CSL and then getting an M3 and making it into a track car, the stock SMG was meh, but I got everything I needed downloaded from the internet and the necessary cable and I flashed the TCU to the CSL, much improved shifting, faster but also smoother and of course better clutch wear.

I later purchased the ECU flashing software and wrote my own throttle maps and enabled the CSL side of the ECU for downshift rev matches and the extra power, as I also fitted the CSL air box etc, oh my what a noise.

So yes if you can do it and its just software, do it.

Can I suggest you make a call to Aldous at AV engineering. Get them to retime your engine and completely remap the ECU’s to somewhere in between a CS and a Challenge race car.
It is just a different car to drive all together and brings a 360 very close to 430 performance. The raised rev limiter to 9000 is quite a giggle bounce

It’s definitely worth a phone call if only to discuss your options with Aldous.

If Scoggins doesn’t want it, I’ll take the ECU.
