£144k on options and no carbon fibre wheels? For shame.

Seems like a very individual colour, so why on Earth would someone spec it like that just to sell? I'll never understand that strata of supercar ownership and I don't think I want to either.

The only way it makes sense in my head is if the owner just loves the Atelier experience, and the resultant car is a byproduct.

I like that a lot. Red is so boring on a Ferrari.

Pista values are dropping for sure. Went to Ferrari Wilmslow on Saturday and was shocked to see they have 4 Pista sat in stock starting at 285k for a red one which are absolutely stunning, am even a little tempted myself by it.

I asked for Speciale with some miles and just said you will be lucky as they tend to not get driven, it is such a shame. frown

I actually think the engine bay is OTT, but the overall spec is epic.
You're right, why not drive the damn thing?

Saw an 812 in the same green, without any carbon at all and no shields…. It looked magnificent and tastefully done.
This Pista, however, is a dogs dinner imo. Less, really can be more……

I saw a Verde Scuro 812GTS at my dealer and i thought it was an absolutely stunning colour. Not so sure on a Pista where i would prefer Rosso Scuderia personally.

This was originally specced by Romans' chairman who has a thing about green Ferraris.

Vinaccia and Verde British are both on my short list if I ever get around to getting a car repainted - 2 of my absolute favourite colors

Yes, Romans were selling a green 812, similarly over-specified and hardly driven. You do wonder what the point is.

My experience of the Atelier is that they listen and want you to have the right car rather than act like a car salesman trying to push every option down your throat. However, if a customer comes along with the requisite bad taste, they will go along.

Most over-specifying of Ferraris is down to the injudicious use of carbon fibre and if you want green carbon fibre, your costs will hit the ceiling.

I think a fair few Pistas went to buyers hoping to cash in but after being pushed into buying California’s and Lusso’s plus the “required” options many have lost out. For the past year dealers have only been advertising one or two cars when they actually have more availability.

A big factor some people don't realise is that Pistas were a full production model with 600 registered in the UK. To expect them to retain list and not depreciate is rather ambitious taking this into account. As an example the 812SF built in similar numbers have depreciated by £100k+ in some extreme cases and arguably a more special Ferrari.

In that colour, it looks a lot like an Emira or vice versa

lol @ not getting carbon wheels

the reality is this car wasn't even bought as an investment or to be driven and was purely to keep in the good books with ferrari, they love atelier customers

Potentially it's the chairmans car? they posted two very high specced 812's in green, one SF and one GTS so wondering if this was also his.

Think he has a significant collection so no surprise its not been driven

Not a huge fans of the green, have never been a fan of darker green shades and for some reason Ferrari's don't seem to suit the citrus or neon/flouro greens, but that purple is properly fking epic!
