F355 water pump availability

Does anyone have a source for rebuilt/refurbished 355 water pumps?
Orderd one from superformance, paid for it and waited for delivery, just to be told via email that they have them on back order
Forget eurospares, they want double the price of superformance.
Any ideas? Thanks

What is wrong with it ?

Whilst a different cars, i have replaced one on a maserati and other than the bearing couldnt really see any parts that would wear.

Can it be that difficult to swap ?

Superformance clearly should have told you immediately with 24 hours that it is not in stock and as it's August you will probably have to wait until Sept until the Italians return from their holidays, my f430 was once off the road for 5 weeks thanks to this issue with Eurospares

It's being replaced.
And yes it is quite involving on these cars, it's no small job. Two choices to swap the water pump on an f355, either remove the engine or remove the fuel tank.
Not really a job for the novice

Yea tell me about it, bloody annoyed me.
No mention of it being on back order on there website.
Mind you there service has been slipping of late, as well as the quality of some of there headers, but that's another story. The water pumps they have are usually rebuilt in the UK, but its knowing were.
I always used to use eurospares (15 years), but then there pricing seems to have shot through the roof over the last few years.

I agree. My F355 is an early one, 1995, and there was a question mark over the water pump last year but for now it seems OK. I’ll be having it replaced next year when the engine is out to do the belts.
