Tyre availability

Just a heads up on tyre availabiliy

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S - 245/35R20 95Y XL there are none in the UK, 8-12 day back order from Europe at big money.
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S - 305/30R20 103Y XL. very few around but they can get 2 (3-4 days)


There are some Michelin Pilot Sport 4S - 245/35R20 95Y XL MO (Merc) around, checking it they are OK to fit.
Anyone experienced similar issues getting tyres recently.

I managed to get some PS4S 245/35 20 K1’s from mytyres (well, they haven’t arrived yet but are on the way)

Cheers, Blackboots have ordered the fronts from Europe. I have read some horror stories about MyTyres, so fingers crossed they come OK.

I think that there is a supply issue with tyres in general. Obviously it's the other end of the scale but I rang our local (big) tyre place the other day at work after a tyre for a Transit van. As soon as I told him the size he immediately declared that they had nothing of that size on the shelf and it would be a case of what he could get in, rather than anything matching what we have had before.

There was an offer on them a couple of months back - 10% off, IIRC, so I got eight fitted. Might be part of the reason they're scarce now (the offer, not the fact I bought eight of them!).

I’ve bought from them before no issues, but that review thread makes for some interesting reading ….

The fronts arrived this morning and I seem to have a DPD notification of a delivery tomorrow which I think will be the rears.

Well done, mine have arrived at Blackboots but I cannot go and get them fitted as I need to sell-isolate.
