F430 20 inch wheels
Discussion
I'm shopping for F430s and I've noticed quite a few which have been fitted with aftermarket 20 inch wheels. I know these cars came on 19s, and some cars can be sensitive to wheel size, and I wondered if changing them had any adverse effect on the ride and handling. I figure Ferrari had some of the best engineers in the world working full time tuning every aspect of that car to be the best it could possibly be, so coming along and just sticking some new wheels on can only make it worse. Or am I just being paranoid?
Many owners in the US install 20's.
The ADV1's look great, surely the ride will get harsh, that's the compromise vs looks.

I found some posts on ferrarichat, as noted it seems pretty common in the US.
From what I can tell on there it doesn't massively adversely affect the ride/handling, but it almost certainly won't help. As long as you don't go with different sizes front and back it shouldn't trouble the stability control or ABS either.
Still not something I'd choose to do, but doesn't seem like it should be a deal breaker.
