My 458 will sit outside my house, on my drive (Thanks Persimmons for making a garage not big enough for a fecking car).

I want to A) protect the car and B) avoid too much attention when on the drive

I was set on a Stormforce cover, but then I saw this review - https://www.thelotusforums.com/forums/topic/86256-...

Has anyone got any better recommendations?

(Must have a lock)

Is it the width or depth of the garage thats the issue?

Outdoor covers in my experience aren't worth it.

How much space is there on the drive .. what does it look like?

Stormforce covers are decent, I've got one for my Evora which lives outside and it's a good bit of kit. Not sure how that fella had issues with his.

And what do you mean by it must have a lock?

It has space for 2

I am only there for a short time before we rent it out and move to a place with a double garage.

I may consider a local lockup tbh. A Ferrari will standout like a sore thumb on my estate. Its nice, but I mean, its not exactly fancy lol.

Haha I hear you. I'll be honest I live in one of the sttest neighbourhoods in my town and my Evora has survived on my driveway although I don't think my Clio V6 would have faired the same result!

Getting a lock up or some secure storage might be your best option though if you're super paranoid about it.

Just had a garage specialist on the phone. After sending the car spec and measuring the garage, he can bore out the walls and fit padding on the walls for £500.

Il be able to drive in and safely open the driver door.

Absolutely chuffed. He’s coming over tomorrow to start the work.

Ideal!

Superb, especially as a deent cover is about half that amount! Never even knew this was a thing so make sure you get some photos up.

I had the same done with mine, they took out two bricks and put in a new steel. Then had an auto roller door put in.

My wall padding is nailed on old carpet!
